Description

A Heat Exchanger consists of two fluid circuits separated by a solid wall or surface, through which heat is transferred from one fluid to the other. The fluids may be in direct contact with each other or separated by the solid wall, depending on the type of exchanger. Heat Exchangers may use different heat transfer mechanisms such as conduction, convection, and radiation to transfer heat efficiently.
